Forum: texts Subject: epub upload

I'm working an a series of epubs involving historically significant geology books and journal articles. So far I've completed 3 epubs, with another 4 almost finished. The three completed are Playfair's book on the Huttonian Theory, William Smith's on correlation by fossils, Richard Kirwan's Geological Essays. As I finish each, I have been posting it on MobileRead, but I wondered if Internet Archive would be interested in uploads of them also.

The epubs have been pretty thoroughly proofed using guiguts, MS Word spellcheck, and careful reading of the text on a computer and an ebook.

I'm not sure if IA will post such submitted finished ebooks because it seems that pdf files or scans are posted, so please let me know if I should upload them or forget about it.

OK, I tried uploading three epubs via the 'upload' button, and they were placed in the open source collection as 'History of Geology Collection'. They were Richard Kirwan's Geological Essays, 1799, John Playfair's 'Illustrations of the Huttonian Theory of the Earth, 1822, William Smith's Identification of Strata by Organized Fossils, 1816. I screwed up how they were organized because a search for author under 'texts' did not locate them, but a search under each title finally listed the epubs but they are listed as the three together. I'd like them to be listed separately on search results. Thus, I'd like to totally scratch them, and experiment until I get the contributions in the proper form but I have no idea how to do this?? I can't even figure out how to get into the page were they are stored.

Is it possible to erase contributions? If so, how do I proceed? Actually rather than open source, I'd like to contribute them to a location such that they are listed along with other texts, unlike the situation now.
